VisuaLiving > Festetics Castle Wedding

In Celebrations, Treks, VisuaLiving > Highlights on 12/05/2011 at 02:34

It’s funny, the memories that stick with us. For me, memories from a wedding I attended in Keszthely, Hungary have little to do with the castle it took place in, or the even the bride and groom (dare I say).  What I remember is the flower girl, the flow of her dress, and the light that made her glow like a light bulb as she left the castle to get on with her day . I also remember the man who wore traditional Hungarian boots. It actually wasn’t the man so much. It was more about what he had on his feet.  I thought, “How can I get a pair of those boots to take home with me on the plane?”

April Garden Party 2010 Continues

In Celebrations, Random Curiosities on 04/12/2010 at 03:11

Sweet fragrant daffodils, in full bloom, poke through astilbe leaves to say hello and ask:

Where are you?

The April Garden Party is in full swing.

There’s room for more, and it doesn’t matter where you live.

The point of the party is to share what is (or isn’t) growing in April near you.

For directions, and to see who’s arrived, follow this link.

Hope to see you soon!

Karyn

April is over and submissions are closed.
To all who stopped by to view and/or share, thank-you!
